BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — For the first time in 17 years, country music star Garth Brooks is putting on a show in Buffalo.
Ahead of his six shows over four days, Brooks took time to speak to the press. He held both a half-hour long press conference, and spoke directly with News 4.
Brooks said he loves his job, at one point even comparing it to eating ice cream.
“It’s almost like if you had a job of eating ice cream, and your boss asks you to do some overtime,” Brooks said. “Sign me up.”
Brooks was referencing the large amount of shows packed into such a small amount of time, but in an interview he said he loves every part of his job, and is excited to do it in Buffalo.
“The cool thing is when you come into a city, the city kind of brings you its best stuff,” Brooks said.
Brooks will perform the first of six shows on Thursday night.
