NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (WIVB) — Residents in Niagara Falls are still coping with frozen pipes and a lack of water despite a slightly warmer trend of temperatures from the February cold.
Officials say about 130 customers remained without water on Thursday. City Fire Halls remained open to the residents in need of water or warmth through the evening.
Niagara Falls Mayor Paul Dyster said Thursday he’d be making plans to deliver water to residents who are bound to their homes or disabled.
Residents in need of water can call (716) 286-4727.
Many residents are hooked up to their neighbors hoses as a short term fix, but they’re calling on the city to repair the issue so it doesn’t happen next winter.
