Police report finding drugs, money in apartment

JAMESTOWN, N.Y. (WIVB) – Drugs and cash were found inside a Jamestown apartment Wednesday afternoon, according to police. An alleged fugitive is now facing additional charges.

Police said they executed a search warrant on Fairmount Avenue, in Jamestown, where they found powder cocaine, marijuana and $2,400 cash.  Michael D. Gunn, 31, of Erie, Pennsylvania was arrested.

Gunn was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, and possession of marijuana. He was found to have an outstanding felony warrant out of Pennsylvania for burglary.

Anyone with information on the sales and trafficking of illegal narcotic drugs is asked to contact Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force at 483-TIPS.
