Couple killed in Pennsylvania house fire

Bingham, Pa. (WIVB) — A Pennsylvania couple died in a house fire Monday morning in a town near Coudersport.

The fire tore through a home in Bingham Township, Potter County,  killing Gary Briggs, 67, and Mary Briggs, 70.  The victims were found in the debris of their home on Genesee Mills Road according to State Police based in Coudersport.

A motorist saw the fire around 6 a.m. and called 911.

Fire personnel report the home was fully involved and in a state of collapse when they arrived.

­Officials have not yet released a possible cause for the fire.
