Man arrested after alleged choking incident

KENNEDY, N.Y. (WIVB) — A man is in custody after police were called to the scene of a domestic dispute.

New York State Troopers in Jamestown say say they responded to the house of Terence E. Sweeney, 26, after getting calls regarding a domestic dispute. Troopers say they investigated and that led to charges of criminal obstruction of  breathing, third degree menacing and second degree harassment.

Troopers arrested Sweeney and committed him to the Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of $1,000 bail. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
