Postal employee guilty of undelivered mail saddled with fine

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Buffalo postal worker who pleaded guilty to obstruction of the mails skirted jail time when she was sentenced Tuesday.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office says Jennifer Paonessa, 33, was saddled with a $250 fine Tuesday — less than the maximum six-month-sentence and $5,000 fine.
