BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – There’s something about watching other people search for the perfect place to live that viewers just can’t turn away from. That’s the idea behind “House Hunters,” and that’s certainly how Tara Erwin of Buffalo and her husband Ryan feel.
They love the show so much, that when it came time to look for a new house for their growing family, they applied to be on it. Well you won’t see them on the first ever Buffalo-based episode of the hit show, set to air next month on HGTV. But you will see their old home in the City of Tonawanda.
“Coincidentally, our house was on the market, and we didn’t know at the time, but the scouting agent for the show went to our open house,” Tara told News 4. “And put it down to be a contender to be one of the houses that was featured in an episode that they already had kind of in the works.”
You can find out if Tara and Ryan’s house was the home that featured couple Lindsey Zaffarano and Chris DeMarchis and their realtor Brian Szkatulski end up choosing in the end of the episode when it airs on April 22nd.
