Man pleads guilty to raping high schooler

SPRINGVILLE, N.Y. (WIVB) – A Springville man pleaded guilty in connection to a rape case from May 2013. Bobby Dunnigan, 41, pleaded guilty after the jury was selected for his trial. The victim’s mother is serving a nine-month sentence in connection to the case.

He and a woman picked the woman’s daughter up from school, and drove to a Hamburg hotel where he rented a room. Prosecutors said the three drank vodka and beer.

Dunnigan raped the victim before having sexual intercourse with the victim’s mother, according to the Erie County District Attorney’s Office.

Dunnigan pleaded guilty to third-degree rape. The victim’s mother pleaded to the same charge.
