NHL broadcaster’s case adjourned to May 8

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – NHL Broadcaster Nick Boynton was set to face a judge Wednesday, for a pretrial conference hearing, but was not in court.

Boynton got into a fight last week at the Buffalo Creek Casino. Workers asked him to leave. Police tried to restrain him, but they said he bit one of the officers.

Boynton faces a number of charges, including assault, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.

Court was adjourned until May 8.
