Day celebrates talents, skills of people with autism

BUFFALO, N..Y (WIVB) – Autism organizations around the world are celebrating the eighth annual World Autism Awareness Day, Thursday.  The day focuses on celebrating the unique talents and skills of people with autism.

Global landmarks, including Niagara Falls, are lighting up blue to raise awareness.

Social media users are encouraged to participate in World Autism Day by using #LIUB, for “Light It Up Blue.” Click here to see the conversation on Twitter.
