Dunkin Donuts, Baskin Robbins donate more than coffee to Food Bank

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A day after April Fools’ Day, the Dunkin Donuts and Baskin Robbins Community Foundation still wasn’t joking around. They donated a sizable amount of money to the Food Bank of western New York.

The Food Bank of WNY accepted a $20,000 grant from the foundation to help serve children through their backpack program — an effort to provide children with nutritious and easy-to-prepare food.

The Food Bank’s goal is to help children learn what to eat while on the go, like on weekends and school vacations when other resources aren’t available.
