Here’s are some can’t miss community events happening around WNY over Easter weekend:
- There are lots of egg hunts around town on Saturday, but only one that takes place underwater. The Seaster Egg Hunt at the Aquarium of Niagara will have your kids searching for brightly colored eggs right in the exhibits! It goes all day from 10am to 4pm. The Easter Bunny himself will be there the whole time.
- If you’re looking for a more traditional style hunt, head downtown to the waterfront. Templeton Landing’s annual Easter egg hunt kicks off on Saturday at 10:30. As always, Mayor Brown will be there to start things off. You can stay and have brunch at the restaurant afterwards.
- A special Easter tradition is in bloom at the Botanical Gardens. The spring flower show features gorgeous colors, fragrances, even bunnies and chicks too! It’s open from 10 to 5 Friday and Saturday. You have until next weekend to experience the beauty.
- It’s another back to back weekend at First Niagara Center. The Sabres will host the Chicago Blackhawks Friday night at 7. Then on Saturday, the New England Black Wolves will be in town for a 7:30 game against the Bandits. It’s 80’s night, so get out the legwarmers and the hairspray and get ready to hear your favorite 80’s tunes during the game!
