Bills wide receiver Sammy Watkins is recovering from offseason hip surgery, ESPN and NFL Network reported Friday.

Watkins injured his hip during Buffalo’s matchup against Cleveland on November 30th. Despite the injury, he played the final four games of the season and finished the year with 65 catches for 982 yards and six touchdowns.

The Bills kick off voluntary offseason conditioning this Monday, with the first on-field activities coming up later this month with a veteran’s minicamp opening April 28th.
