Uprooted tree crashes into Buffalo home

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A slew of soggy weather after a long freeze may have allowed a large tree to crash into a Buffalo home Friday.

Although nobody lived in the home at the time of the collapse, crews worked to dispose of the tree which struck a Pomona Place home, uprooting ground all around it.

Crews attacked the tree from multiple angles in an attempt to dispose of it safely. Much of the tree was put into a wood chipper.
