Police conduct emergency response training

LITTLE VALLEY, N.Y. (WIVB) — Police in Cattaraugus County are warning residents that a heightened police and first responder presence throughout the week is part of a training program.

A program will run from Monday through Thursday which will help State Police and other first responders prepare for emergency situations. They’ll coordinate drills and situations at an old Rock City Street elementary school.

Police say residents shouldn’t be alarmed, as the training will last from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. each day.
