Local Olive Garden to rebuild after fire

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Almost a year after a local Olive Garden burned down, the rebuilding process has begun.

The Olive Garden near the McKinley Mall burned in June of 2014, and soon enough, it will begin serving patrons again. The Olive Garden will rebuild at the same location.

An accidental grease fire spread from the kitchen to the rest of the building. There’s no word on when construction is expected to be finished.
