BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – A bike manufacterer is issuing a recall for almost 1 million bicycles.
Consumer safety experts say a “quick release” lever near the front wheel can come into contact with the brake. That could cause the wheel to stop suddently or seperate from the bike.
One bike rider was paralyzed in an accident on one of these Trek bicycles.
Concerned customers can contact a Trek dealer to have the lever replaced for free.
