Drug sniffing dog finds drugs in prison

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A man already serving time in Erie County is charged with additional drug charges Friday.

A drug sniffing dog is credited with finding drugs on a man who police are saying smuggled drugs into jail at the Erie County Holding Center. Police say the dog and his handler found pills and a substance which they think is heroin in the intake area at the holding center.

Police charged Ian Gammack, an inmate, with drug smuggling charges.
