Callan Gray

Callan Gray joined the News 4 team as a reporter in April 2015.

Callan comes from WCYB/WEMT in the Tri-Cities, Tenn. where she spent nearly two years as a multimedia journalist and fill-in anchor.

Before heading down south, Callan spent three and a half years at NPR member station WAER-FM in Syracuse where she worked as a reporter, producer and host of All Things Considered.

She also did freelance reporting for WBNG-TV in Binghamton and interned at stations in Albany and Philadelphia.

Callan graduated magma cum laude from Syracuse University in 2013 where she earned dual degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Earth Science. She also minored in Music Industry.

Callan is excited to be back telling stories in her home state. She grew up in the Capital District and looks forward to getting outdoors to see all that Western New York has to offer.

When she’s not working, Callan loves to run, cook and pick up the guitar she’s learning to play.
