Troopers charge Kenmore man with DWI

CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. (WIVB) — Police stopped a speeding vehicle along the I-90 in Cheektowaga Thursday night and say it led to more serious charges.

New York State Troopers say the driver of the vehicle appeared drunk when interviewing him. Police say they arrested him on the scene and brought him to Buffalo to test his blood alcohol content.

Troopers charged Carl E. Capotosto, 31, after they say they learned his blood alcohol content was .10 percent. He’ll return to the Town of Cheektowaga court on May 11 to answer the charges.
