Early morning crash in West Seneca kills one man

WEST SENECA, N.Y. (WIVB) – A portion of Clinton street was closed for almost five hours Saturday morning due to a fatal accident.

Two cars collided on Clinton Street between Inter Drive and Old French Road at approximately 4:45 a.m.

Daniel C. Demont, a Buffalo resident, crossed into oncoming traffic and struck a Ford pickup truck that was being driven by Ashley M. Alexander.

Alexanders passenger, David C. Roller, a resident of Depew, was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead on the scene.

Both drivers were taken to the hospital with minor injuries and are facing charges for driving while intoxicated.
