Overnight shootings in Buffalo send two to ECMC

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – Buffalo police report two separate shootings occurred overnight between 1 and 3 a.m.

According to authorities, a 28 year-old man was struck by gunfire just before 1 a.m. in the first block of Curry Walk. He was taken to ECMC and is listed in critical condition. Then, around two hours later, they say a 22 year-old man was shot at Jefferson and South Division. He was also taken to ECMC where he’s listed in fair condition.

Detectives are investigating if the 28 year-old was struck by a stray bullet.
