Reward offered for information leading to hit and run arrest

 BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB)– The family of a child struck by a car last July is pleading for the driver to come forward.

Three-year-old Xayleiz Morales was hit by a car near Genesee and Floss streets last July and she will be permanently disabled due to her injuries.

Witnesses describe the car that struck her (seen in the surveillance photo above) as a white four-door Chevy Impala with tinted windows occupied by four African-American men.

It is believed that the driver has a tattoo on the left side of his neck.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Buffalo Police Department tip line at 716-847-2255.
