NIAGARA COUNTY, N.Y. (WIVB) — State Police made multiple arrests for various drug and DWI charges in Niagara County this past weekend.
31-year-old Faraz Ahmad of Niagara Falls, N.Y. was stopped for a seat belt violation while traveling on Route 62 when State Police noticed he had illegal drugs in his vehicle. Police found hydrocodone pills, marijuana and a marijuana grinder. He was arrested for seat belt violation, unlawful possession of marijuana, controlled substance in a non-original container and criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Timothy R. Clark of Amherst was stopped for failing to keep right and moving from a lane unsafely on Niagara Falls Boulevard in the Town of Wheatfield. Clark failed a field sobriety test and refused to take a breath test. He was arrested and ticketed for Driving While Intoxicated.
Leonard C. Block of Niagara Falls, N.Y.was stopped for failing to keep right and moving from a lane unsafely on Niagara Falls Boulevard. Block failed a field sobriety test and was processed by State Police where he failed a field sobriety test.
All individuals will appear in court at a later date to answer the charges.
