BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Police are investigating a shooting that left three people injured Monday evening.
Police responded to a call just after 6 p.m. for a shooting in the 200 block of Schuele Avenue.
The three individuals struck by gunfire were transported to ECMC with apparent non-life threatening injuries. On Tuesday, police said the three men were each in good to fair condition.
Neighbors News 4 spoke with expressed frustration with violence in their neighborhood. “What’s so sad is this is a holiday and we’re running around protesting about the police officers killing us and we doing it to ourselves,” John Walker said.
A family member tells News 4 that two of the victims are a 14-year-old and a 17-year-old, but that has yet to be confirmed by Buffalo Police.
“Please ’cause my granddaughter got shot for nothing, for nothing, she’s a kid,” Joanna Walker said.
