Mayor Brown speaks on behalf of political operative whose home was raided

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — The Mayor of the City of Buffalo spoke out Friday on behalf of one of three political operatives whose homes were raided in state and federal raids.

Officials are looking into the former Deputy Mayor Steve Casey, Chris grant, chief of staff for Congressman Chris Collins, and former Erie County Democratic Party Chairman Steve Pigeon.

On Thursday each of their homes were raided, and on Friday, Mayor Brown spoke on behalf of his former colleague.

“Steve Casey certainly worked with me for a long time,” Brown said. “I always found him to be the highest of integrity.”
