BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Buffalo Police Department investigators are busy Friday as they attempt to understand what led to three deaths.
Police say they found a 57-year-old man dead on the intersection of Broadway and Rommel at about 1 a.m. Officers located him by the curb and say he was unconscious. Paramedics rushed him to the Erie County Medical Center and pronounced him dead there. Now police say an investigation is pending, and they’re looking for witnesses to step forward.
At Gallatin Avenue, police found another body in the Riverside neighborhood. Police have yet to identify this person, but say they died from a drug overdose.
A third body was located on Norwood Avenue early Friday morning. Although police have also not identified this body, they say the person also died from a drug overdose.
