Miracle League holds Opening Day in Grand Island

GRAND ISLAND, N.Y. (WIVB) – Organizers say there was a record turnout to Opening Day of the Miracle League of Western New York.

The organization gives children with disabilities the opportunity to take the field and play baseball.

Opening Day was held in Veteran’s Park on Bedell Road, Sunday. The kids play on a special field that was built to be accessible for everyone.

Miracle League serves thousands of kids around the world.
