BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – Dierks Bentley and five other country acts will perform for a sold out crowd at Coca-Cola Field for the Taste of Country tonight! The concert is all sold out, but you can go to the official WYRK after party following the show at Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino.
This weekend marks the 40th consecutive Juneteenth Festival in Buffalo. The celebration will take place in MLK Park all weekend. The annual parade is Saturday at 11 a.m. Entertainment and activities run through 8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
Those touched by breast cancer will join together tomorrow morning in Delaware Park. The Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure celebrates survivors and honors those who have lost the battle with the disease. Registration begins at 7 a.m. in the Rose Garden. The race starts at 10 a.m.
You can support children fighting cancer at Roswell Park, at a fun summer themed fundraiser tomorrow night. At the Friends of Carly “White Party,” everyone wears white in honor of the kids in Carly’s Club. The party starts at 6 p.m. at Encore Restaurant. There will be basket raffles and a silent auction.
Thousands will walk with the hope of curing type one diabetes on Sunday in Delaware Park. The JDRF Walk drew a record crowd of more than 3,200 last year, and raised more than $650,000.
