NYS considering widening Walden and Central Avenues

LANCASTER, N.Y. (WIVB) — Changes from New York State could make a busy intersection less narrow.

Officials at the New York State Department of Transportation say they’re considering making the corner of Walden and Central Avenues more wide.

The plan could help improve safety and smooth out traffic flow. Officials say a public hearing will be held on Monday, June 22 at the Lancaster Village Hall from 4 p.m. through 6:30 p.m.
