CHICAGO (WIVB) – Patrick Kane hoisted the Stanley Cup for the third time in his career Monday night, scoring a goal in Game Six to lead Chicago past Tampa Bay 2-0 to clinch the championship.

The goal was Kane’s first of the series, but his eleventh overall in the playoffs. At just 26 years old, Kane already has three Cups on his resume’.

Kane’s teammate, defenseman Duncan Keith, won the Conn Smythe as the playoff MVP. Keith scored the first goal of the game tonight in the second period to give Chicago the lead.

In the third period, Kane’s strike gave the Blackhawks the first two-goal advantage of the series, leading to the first game of the Stanley Cup Final this year that was not decided by a single goal. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
