ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WIVB) – The Buffalo Bills added to the depth at tight end after Thursday’s final minicamp practice, signing Matthew Mulligan.
Mulligan is more of a blocking tight end who has bounced around the AFC East in his brief NFL career, having spent time with all four teams after joining the Bills today. He also had brief stints with the Bears, Titans, and Rams.
Mulligan, 6-4 and 267 pounds, has 16 catches for 160 yards and two touchdowns in 69 career NFL games.
The Bills released DB Merrill Noel to make room on the roster.
