BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Dunkirk man who pleaded guilty to possession of child pornography is facing a lengthy sentence in prison.
On Thursday a judge sentenced Shane Taylor, 43, to 10 years behind bars. Taylor pleaded guilty as charged after three years of investigation into the child pornography case. Police say when they searched his home, they found a computer filled with over 3,000 images of child porn and violence. They also found a shotgun.
U.S. District Judge Richard Arcara sentenced him to the maximum time behind bars. Possession of child pornography carries a penalty of up to 10 years behind bars and a fine of up to $250,000.
