BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – The Erie County Sheriff’s office have arrested a Buffalo man for possession of cocaine with an estimated street value of $120,000.
Authorities say a three month investigation led to the arrest of Marlon Swaggard, 26, of Jewett Parkway in Buffalo.
Officers executed a search warrant at Swaggard’s home Tuesday evening and recovered approximately two kilograms of cocaine and over $118,000 cash.
An investigation revealed that the cocaine was extremely high grade. Swaggard’s customer base is believed to be located all throughout Erie County.
Swaggard was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the first degree and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the third degree, both felonies. He was also charged with two counts of Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia in the second degree, a misdemeanor and Unlawful Possession of Marihuana, a violation.
Swaggard is being held at the Erie County Holding Center pending his arraignment in Buffalo City Court on June 23.
