Stolen car crashes into church early Friday

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – Buffalo Police  have told News 4 that a stolen car crashed into a church early Friday morning.

Police say they tried to pull over a stolen vehicle when the car sped away at a high speed. A short time later, the car crashed into a church near Doat St. and Burgard.

The passengers fled the accident on foot.

A man and a woman were apprehended by officers after a short pursuit on foot.

A third possible person is still free at this time.

The two suspects were treated at a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
