Buffalo Zoo shuttle to enter service Friday

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A long awaited parking relief for Buffalo Zoo goers is set to enter service on Friday.

The new shuttle, dubbed the Zoofari, was officially unveiled on Thursday. On Friday, riders will be able to park at Medaille College and shuttle into the zoo.

Shuttles will run on Friday, Saturday and Sunday during the summer.

“We have long recognized that we do have a parking challenge,” Donna Fernandes, president and CEO of the Buffalo Zoo, said. “Because parking is the first step in customer satisfaction, we are happy to have established a partnership with Nichols School, Medaille College and MASH Urgent Care to better serve our customers.”

Signs will direct those wishing to use the shuttles on where to park at Medaille.
