Disoriented bikers phone for help in Sprague Brook Park

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A call for help rang out from two cyclists traveling through an Erie County Park and police rushed to respond.

The bikers called for help Wednesday night in Sprague Brook Park after the sun fell from the sky. The cyclists explained they became disoriented and didn’t know where they were.

Deputies from the Erie County Sheriff’s Department responded and organized two search parties to help find the bikers, and after over an hour of searching, police found them.

Officials say the bikers didn’t sustain any injuries.
