Ride for Roswell cancels two routes due to potential inclement weather

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Officials from Ride for Roswell say they’re going to cancel two routes due to predicted weather.

The Ride for Roswell board says they met late on Friday to discuss the possibility of cancelling the two longest routes at 6:15 a.m. and 6:30 a.m., and decided to do so for the safety of their riders.

Anybody registered for the two routes is welcome to slide into another time slot.

Officials say they’ll meet again to discuss the other routes and any further cancellations or adjustments just before 5:00 a.m. in the morning. Anybody in need of up to date information on routes can call (716) 843-7433.

News 4 will update this story with the latest. Ride for Roswell officials say to date more than 7,000 riders who are participating have raised more than $3 million for the cause.
