FRIENDSHIP, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Fourth of July arrest forced New York State Troopers to deal with a sticky situation.
Police say they received reports of a naked man in the Town of Friendship who was drunk and had a weapon. When Troopers hit the scene, they say they found the man in violation of a number of laws, including driving drunk, trespassing and criminal possession of a weapon.
Troopers arrested Timothy Myers, a 54-year-old Pennsylvania man, and charged him with a list of crimes. Following his arraignment, a judge remanded Myers to the Allegany County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bail.
Myers will return to court on July 21.
