BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Fans of the Buffalo Bills and the late Ralph Wilson Jr. will not want to miss a salute to his service in the Queen City Friday.

The Naval and Military Park will host their annual salute to service week on Friday, but it will have a special salute to a few standout veterans from the Buffalo Bills. The park has on loan 13 medals which Wilson earned during World War II during his service with the Navy, along with other notable affects like his uniform from World War II and a flag he received from President Obama in 2012.

In addition to honoring the former owner of the Buffalo Bills, the park will honor Bob Kalsu, the only NFL player to perish during the Vietnam War.
