ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WIVB) — The first fans are filtering in to park at the Ralph Wilson Stadium in Orchard Park and many are getting ready for the frenzy.
The stadium’s RV lot opened up at 12 p.m., and four RV drivers rolled in immediately, each wanting to lay claim to prime spots. Stadium crew also worked hard to get the grounds ready for an army of Rolling Stones fans who will invade the grounds on Saturday night.
An 8 p.m. start time might seem like a long way out, but even nearby residents are getting ready. The owners of the Hammers lot say they’re getting ready to give those who park at their property a memorable experience. He’s created a large Rolling Stone logo for fans to pose with.
“I always try to do something special. And now this is something that people can come over and do a photo op,” Eric Matwijow, the owner of the lot, said. “Because I do have fathers bringing their kids and stuff and this is something that they can always cherish.”
While those in Orchard Park prepare, the members of the Rolling Stones are getting a taste of Buffalo. See what they’re up to here.
