WNY native has connection to Rolling Stones

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WIVB)- As the Rolling stones prepare to take the stage Saturday evening at Ralph Wilson Stadium, one Kenmore native has a special connection to “America’s Number One Rock N Roll Band”

“I think they remember me as a straight shooter and a Buffalo Gal” said Chrissy Kingston, who met the stones in 1989 and went on seven world tours with the Stones designing their dressing rooms until 2007. She even found a stray dog in Russia that Keith Richards adopted. “Rasputin, he named him, but I was crying so hard that I had to leave this dog behind that he took it home for me.”

On his autobiography, Keith writes “Chrissy doesn’t throw you curve balls.”

Kingston remembers them talking about it back then saying they “were gonna do  this for fifty years but they’ve done it like no others and bring from a town like this it’s kind of exciting that I’ve got to live this life and travel the world with them. How they are is what you really see when they’re interviewed.”
