BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – Listeners of 97 Rock were treated to an extra dose of the Rolling Stones as they rode to work Monday morning following the band’s return to Buffalo.
Norton in the Morning hosts Larry Norton, Rob Lederman, and Chris Klein not only played Stones classics and performances from the show, but also took calls about Mick Jagger sightings around town and listener’s reviews of the show.
“If it’s possible, I think the Rolling Stones may have sounded better Saturday night, than when I saw them twenty years ago,” Norton told News 4, who joined him for Wake Up on the Radio week. “Mick was great. Supposedly he runs six miles every day. I don’t know where he ran around Buffalo, maybe Delaware Park. But he’s in great shape, he’s an inspiration.”
The Norton Show airs from 6-10am weekdays on 97 Rock (96.9 FM).
