BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A car crashed at Gates Circle early Monday morning, leaving a Kenmore woman critically injured.

Police say her car was heading north on Delaware Avenue around 2:30 a.m. when her car hit a median, went into the air and hit a bench and tree.

The car was flipped over when first responders arrived. Buffalo firefighters had to free the woman from the car.

The woman, who police say is in her 30s, was taken to Erie County Medical Center, where police say she’s in critical condition. Police say it appears speed was a factor in the crash.CJyOx7DXAAEWMvi

You can’t go 30 around there, that’s for sure.”
