BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A local father is facing charges of endangering the welfare of his child for allegedly exposing the child to illegal drugs.
Security at Darien Lake says they witnessed a man in a car smoking pot next to his child. New York State Police quickly responded to the scene and upon investigation, Troopers say they learned Pierre J. Vickerd, 22, had three bags of pot and three joints.
Police charged Vickered with endangering the welfare of a child, fifth degree criminal possession of marijuana in public and fifth degree criminal possession of marijuana in a weight more than 25 grams.
Vickered appeared in court to be arraigned and then was remanded to Genesee County Jail on $750 bail.
