BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — After some area concerts, dozens can be arrested in just one night, but at The Rolling Stones concert over the weekend, fans certainly proved they could get satisfaction.
Erie County Sheriff’s Deputies say they only arrested three people at the show which drew tens of thousands of fans. That compared to a pair of recent Fall Out Boy concerts that led to 113 arrests left police in the area happy.
In a statement, the Erie County Sheriff’s Office said the audience was “polite and orderly” and they were pleased with the evening. The three who were detained stemmed from pushing and shoving, and only one person needed to be taken to the Erie County Holding Center.
Deputies treated the concert’s security like a small Buffalo Bills game.
