Recovery efforts continues as police identify missing fisherman

NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (WIVB) — A search effort continues for a fisherman who reportedly slipped into the Niagara River on Sunday morning.

U.S. Coast Guard and other local agencies deployed resources along the Niagara River both Sunday and Monday. Officials said Monday afternoon they were searching for 58-year-old Niagara Falls native Dan Ingram on foot, but not via water.

Ingram reportedly set off with a friend to Devils Hole State Park for a fishing trip but fell into the water.
