State expands FreshConnectChecks program

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – Thousands of western new yorkers who rely on help from the government to put food on the table now have access to another healthy food option.

The state is expanding its FreshConnect Check program.

Low-income families and veterans can use their food stamps at farmers markets across the state.
