BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – Even though it hasn’t even been on the air a whole two years, Buffalo’s newest radio station already has developed a loyal following. Alternative Buffalo made a name for itself with it’s hugely popular Kerfuffle live concerts. The next one will take place Saturday, July 25th at Canalside.
“Last summer, the show sold out,” Morning Host Bentley told News 4. “This year, we’ve got close to twelve thousand people coming. Buffalo welcomed us. Welcomed the music, loves the music. So, it’s a good feeling to have right now.”
“It was the launching pad for what has become the staple here at the station,” Sabres host and Alternative Buffalo fan Brian Duff said of the 2014 Kerfuffle show. He introduced Gaslight Anthem on stage at the concert, and is looking forward to seeing the band again at this year’s show. Other acts include Cake, The Airborne Toxic Event, Saint Motel, and the Mowgli’s.
Kerfuffle is sold out, but the station will be giving away tickets leading up to the show. Bentley broadcasts weekdays from 6am – noon on 107.7 and 104.7 FM in Buffalo.
