Peters makes LPGA debut

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WIVB) – Clarence grad Cat Peters got a taste of the LPGA Thursday, playing in her first tournament with the professionals.

Peters, an amateur at the University of Michigan who earned a sponsor’s exemption to play the event, carded a 79 for a +8 in the first round, landing her near the back of the pack.
